To thank them. Also owe every here who nudged me in the minelab direction a big thanks.

Have about six hours in with the sov gt after this mornings hunt. As suggested I have been operating with no disc and digging everything to try and get a handle on the tones. Its a good thing to as my pre dig guess on the Kennith cole watch was new bottle cap. Bad guess. Watch works and I was able to find its value on the net.

Toe ring and earring are junk and silver ring is another pic of Thursday mornings find that I posted earlier. Other finds so far; about five bucks clad, 15 or so bottle caps, half dozen or so beaver tail pull tabs. Zero square tabs. Machine does not seem to be to hot on them or they just are not there. No gold yet but plenty of nickels and I have plenty of confidence that if its there this machine will find it. Minelab has made me a believer.

Hey Murph,

You bought the best IMO ;)

Congrat on the rings and watch ;)

THE GOLD WILL COME ;)

It's the law of averages ;)

Keep up the finds and the posts ;D

Murf;
Trust me the machine likes square tabs. Weird thing is, some are really hot, like a coin while others break up at the beginning of the tone, that indicates that your probably going to be let down if you dig the signal. But you never know till you dig.
Best of luck
