Went back today to the place I found the Silver Ring with a Gold Heart. After a little bit of clad and one Wheat, I was done for!!! Too hottt!!!!! Holy Cow!!! I know they say 91 and feels like 96, but this is ridiculous!!!! At least I got a Wheat!! Stay Cool and drink Tons of water!!! Happy Hunting!!!

Agree 100%, I've been out three times this week for an hour each time, between the heat & bugs it's not worth it but it try again tomorrow :BangHead: Nice wheat & stay cool
 

Yeah, I took up surf fishing this summer, instead of MDing. Beach cart, lawn chair, umbrellas, cold beer. Haven't caught much, scenery is good, if it gets too hot, jump in the water. Treasure has to wait.
 

I no longer hunt if the temp reaches 85, and if it's only near 80 and it's humid the hunt has to wait. I can't take the heat like I could when I was young and there's no sense risking heat exhaustion or heat stroke for a few coins.
 

Glad you were able to get out but like you said, be careful in the heat!
 

This is supposed to be a fun hobby if its too hot it aint fun be safe be happy plenty of time to dig treasures
 

I used to live in NYC. In the summer, when the beaches were open, I would escape the heat by getting in the water.
