I cant Identify this

I can't Identify this

I found this Wednesday but I cant find any info about it.
Its 1 1/8" diameter I think its brass and it has the same design on both sides.
I found two of them about fifty feet apart in the woods with my metal detector.
I saw similar designs on the internet but this is much plainer than those.
I found it in Wolcott Connecticut which is next to the city of Waterbury a former brass manufacturing center.
If anyone can tell me what it is, thank you.
