It works perfectly and I won't have to unscrew that headphone jack again. It's still 100% waterproof as long as I don't plug in the headphones while water hunting. I just need to find some kind of plug to stick in the hole if I ever want to completely submerge it.
I soldered all connections and waterproofed them by slipping the heat shrink over it and then filled the heat shrink up with rv silicone before I heated it.
