Wonderful pictures. Must feel great finding something from outer space.
I'm thinking you wouldn't be too bothered by pull tabs out there. Lol

yes. no junck no rubish .no wrong signals. but must eliminate minerals (volcanic rocks)

I have no idea if its the real deal, but if so, its one of the biggest I've seen posted!

It sure looks like you have a great site, your google earth picture is a great indicator. If this is a newly discovered meteorite site you need to get out there and get as much as you can. They are really valuable and when the word gets out there will be allot of other hunters in that area and your Government could block out the site and make it illegal to hunt there. That has happened here in Canada so it can happen any where.
Your pix from the first post are really nice, what kind of camera are you using?
ZDD

the landscape looks alien also

Very interesting -let us know what you find out ! in the last pic , I thought I was seeing a scene out of "Lawrence of Arabia"

I love your posts, congratulations on the fine meteorite discovery! I agree that it looks like a fragment, so there are probably more pieces in the area. Good luck finding more!

pics are tooken from a tab mad in china (value 60 us dollar)

That's a really big piece, congrats on the find!

Congrats on your meteorite find, nice looking. Hope you get back there and find more!

Hope you don't get caught finding the rest of the meteorite...

Very cool, good luck to you.

congratulations! That certainly has the characteristic fusion crust you look for in a meteorite. Consider yourself lucky to have such an interesting area to be able to search!

Amazing finds and photos. On the google maps photo, there is another circular area to the bottom left of where you were searching. Maybe worth checking also.
Great scenery in the pictures!

Very interesting post. We do not get to see things like this often. Thank you for taking the time to show us your meteorite.

nice one, thanks for the cool pictures and be careful out there.
