I wish the contents were as good as the dig though. I knew it had some age to it as soon as i dug it out. It was a black rubber squeeze keychain coin holder and had a picture of a fish with “souvenir of Minnesota” written on the back of it. I was deep in the woods following a stone fence when i got a great hit. When i seen it and knew it was full i was praying on at least some silver in it. When i dumped it out it was unfortunately only full of copper pennies. There was 28 U.S and Canadian mixed coins total and the oldest was 1942 and the newest one was 1960. I guess I’m still stuck in my silver drought. I also got a 1947 souvenir penny, a flat button, a 1790’s shield conder token and a large mens gold plated ring that says 18k H.G.E. I guess it was the day of the penny for me. Thanks for looking! [emoji2][emoji106]

hey very cool find no matter what.... would have been crazy if it had been full of silver though. I found an 18k (plated) cobra ring, it was almost all there in the plating and really got me excited when I pulled it out. Then I saw where the plating had come off, the heart sank kind of like yours probably did with the purse. but still a cool find and it was a ring

Well shoot. Can't complain when you dig a handful, all neatly packaged like that. Neat find.

I would not count that as a "bad" hunt...that would be fun!!!!!!:occasion14:

I would be very excited to find a purse like that.
Yep,, a heart pumper for sure. Congratulations.

Killer find! KIDDO, the king of coin spills!

Nothing wrong with a batch of wheats though. Probably some crazy kids buried it back in the day. Nice going!

Great and interesting find without the silver! I'd be happy to get a bunch of wheats.

Ken

Very nice hunt, congratulations! :occasion14:

Got a nice handfull of pennies all at one dig.

I haven't seen one of those coin pouches in years. Wonder if it was a kids stash that he was hiding like a pirate.

AINT SEEN THEM OLD CHANGE POCKETS IN YEARS.

Big bag of surprises
Very cool to find something like that.
