I hit a beauty pocket of dirt this past weekend in a 100 year old railroad logging camp, out of it came the " The Viaduct/ Bar Co/ Everett Wash/ Good for 5 in trade.
I noticed someone has a much better condition token posted in a online database complete with photos but there is no desciption or history of the place, or any reference to rarity of this token.
I finally found my second coin in 1.5 years of detecting (always in the camp) a 1906 liberty head nickel! Two more suspenders sets and a comb, also some small clip or tack that has a gold colored transparent insert that has characteristics of amber, it really sparkles in the sun. New button finds from work pants include "Buffalo Brand" and "F.M.&Co". Thanks for Viewing.

Thanks Don. Good to know it there is another reference. Another question is "Bar Co" is that really a bar, or another sort of buisness?

I posted an old token a few days ago I found and the only info I could find was the same site you found until another poster gave me an email to the historic society in the town it was made. That would be a good place to start.

Here's their email info@HistoricEverett.org

Found this article from 1909 in one of my school's historical newspaper databases. Not sure if it's the same or not...seems like a fairly uncommon name though. This one is from Washington.

Thank you Tyler and Don for those links, gives me a great place to start. Grasshopper, that article has to be for the same saloon. Excellent find! Has the bar owner's name and the street name. Awesome. Glad to have some history on this token.
