I Found a Men's Automatic Dive Watch and Tons of Other Stuff!

I had a pretty darn good day hunting for lost stuff in the river the other day! I found tons of nice sunglasses (Ray-Ban, Costas, etc), tons of diving masks, clad galore, some jewelry (bracelet, ring, gold earring, etc), a Google Pixel phone, a great condition men's Invicta Pro Diver watch and a bunch of other stuff. I also got attacked by a fish and managed to record it!

That’s an insane dive! I can’t believe how much stuff just laying around. You should be metal detecting that whole area too. How the heck do you store all that while diving? Do you have a big Santa sack? Also, is that in a cave?

How much ground do you have to cover to find all that loot? Also, I think you missed a ring at the site of the fish attack. I had to watch that scene a few times to be sure but there's something perfectly circular there that's not a coin. If I'm right, maybe you can go back there and score some gold!

It always blows my mind to see how much stuff people lose and I've been doing this sort of thing for a long time. I definitely plan on detecting...and I have to regularly dump my bag into my boat when it starts to fill up. It's not a cave, but it's basically unsweet tea, hence the darkness. The tannins from leaves make the water a dark brown/red color.

It works great still...I've already swapped out the band (not a huge fan of metal bands) and been wearing it.

This is all without a detector, but I definitely plan to hit it hard with a detector (and a GoPro mounted to the detector to make vids!) The water is dark because there's tons of tannins in the water. It's like diving in tea.

Thanks! Yep, you got it...Very tannic...Without a light, you can't see 2 inches in front of your face under 10 feet of water.

It totally depends...Sometimes I can find a ton of stuff in a small area....I hit a couple different spots on my dive for this latest video, but it was all found in the same day.
