Found 20 today at the BOA. None were silver though. Think I am going to garage sale them for $2.50 each.

I have started to ask for big dollars as well as halfs lately. The teller today was like, "We never have those and if we do the tellers snap them up". She asked another teller if she has any halfs and she disappears into the back. Two minutes later she comes back with a envelope of 20 Ikes. Guess no tellers got to these I gladly took them off her hands.

I have been finding them more lately. I think the kiddos (grown up now) are cashing in their piggy banks these days and have these that grandpa gave them years ago.

But tellers are practically begging you to take the gold dollars.

I did have a local BoA ask if I wanted a box of euro's today.

Told them nope, not until they are forced upon me.

I'd have been euronated off if they offered me those foreign coins. Guarenteed in the near future "One Drop's face will be on a coin.
But getting back to Ikes I get them from time to time. I use them to fill up the tank. Did get one silver one last winter.

I have probably pulled over 500 Ikes out of circulation in the last 2 months and over 1000 this year.
