i found 4 smith and wesson 38 special bullets about 2 inches down....a very crusty 1919 or 1929 wheatie and a cool old case cover of some kind. (she was deep)

whats up with the live ammo? you never know whats coming out of the ground.

What's up with the live ammo? It's a common find for anyone that detects in woods where a lot of hunting occurs. I find them quite often. Sometimes I bring them home. Some times I leave them. They're not dangerous.
 

Nice wheat and watch cover! I find bullets on the beaches up hear too usually smaller like a 22.
 

You find them here and there. I found about 20, .22 shorts or cb's within feet of a school, I suspect from starter pistol, but thought it strange at the time.
 

i guess! i found these in a family recreation area. i was really not expecting to find them at this location.
