I don't think its a huge find or anything, I know nothing about marbles so any info would be great. Where are you duffytrash?
I CAN tell old stuff from new stuff. I would say the majority of the marbles are older. How old? I have no idea. The ones that stick out the most to me are the larger green slag glass looking ones, the biggest marble I have ever seen, and the double helix looking ones.
I paid $2.00 for the whole lot.
I think the coolest thing of all is that I had the marbles sitting in the window when my wife came home, she looked at them and said " oooh marbles! " I didn't even know she liked marbles, I am going to have to start looking for them more often.
