Hello all, the title says it all. The other day, I posted about my 5 rolls of CWR containing 19 silvers, 14 of which were 64's. I hadnt noticed until the next day that one of those 64's was the dd. It doesnt say anything about it in the redbook, so I am wondering if anyone knows or has expirience with the approx value of such a coin. It is in AU condition (IMO). I will post a pic when I can, but it probably wont be until next week, since I leave tomorrow morning to go deer hunting for anywhere from 5 or 6 days to 9.... not sure yet.

P.S. I picked up my 4 boxes today, opened the first one to find 6 silvers "5-40% and 1-franklin" hopefully the next 3 will produce too....

Chris.

Happy hunting all.

We'll definitely need to see a pic Chris. Nice box, much better than I'm finding. By the way, it would be a "doubled" not double die.

I didn't even know there was a doubled '64 Kennedy, Learn something new everyday.

Neither one are in the redbook, but apparently there are a 64 doubled die, obverse, and reverse. I guess maybe they arent in the redbook because they arent extremely doubled like some. Hopefully someone here can shed light on the subject.

I found quite a few dds of 1964. They are not rare at all. There are more dds in the 1964-d than 1964.

It could just be what they call..."Die Chatter". Take it to a dealer and have him check it out to be sure.
