I found this casing and need help

P S could be one of four different makers, to id it further we need to know the length of the cartridge, and the inside diameter of the neck. I'm guessing it might be 7x57 for the Spanish Mauser.

Fairly certain that's an old Spanish 7mm Mauser casing.

When I was a kid I had a 7MM Mexican Military Mauser. Left a lot of empty brass around San Luis Obispo, California. The gun was surplus, and very inexpensive, which is why I had it, and the surplus ammo was easy to come by also, so I'd bet that a lot were sold in the US at the time, and that's probably how you ended up with an empty in Nebraska.
