I got a new sheath for my Lesche so I decided to try it out hunting my lawn. Got some clad and about 5 wheat pennies. Swung over a 24 signal and out pops this!

And it was only 4 inches down. This is my first Barber dime :hello2:

The wife planted it to get you to do some yard work!!!!!!lol There goes the lawn... Sweet find congrats

Nice, I never really thought anything would be found at my house, and never thought out of the box. Big mistake. 1 gold ring, 1 silver ring, a few CW bullets, a CW hat number and an arrowhead. Only one wheatie.

Thats one nice find for coming out of your own yard, now I'd get my self back out there real soon. Congrats on your first Barber dime.

Um, hello! Geez dude. I've busted my tail all year at hundreds of sites and have only found 2 barber Dimes. You are lucky!

Congrats on the Barber. Sounds like maybe your property is older than you thought or had turn of the century activity.

I detected the side yard before and it was all aluminum pieces from siding, so I never got around to the rest of the yard. I will do the rest now!

LOL thanks! My first Barber ever was a quarter, and the very next week I found another Barber quarter at a different site. Hope another Barber is in my future!

Thanks! The town was established in 1848 but the area had activity since 1810.
