I think that means, the finder of the coin will have to give it to the government, and maybe get one penny in return.......
and, of course, free medical.![]()
I detect for the exercise and the fun of finding the old coins. I do detect for modern coins a few times a year and it's not as much fun as finding the old coins. I started detecting years ago and only detected in the parks mowed grass and the finds were slim.Knightwalker said:Very nice Nickel. That's the problem with wooded areas. They are hit or miss, and hard to hunt with fallen trees and brush. But if your doing this for an hourly wage, better to stick to the main park, schools and such. But if your doing it for the exercise, fresh air and the fun of it, then a penny an hour is worth it.

I did the taxes and paid the accountant his $80. I smiled and told him that I heard that I could get them done a the Salvation Army for free now that I'm retired. A few day's later I got a check from him for $40. I wouldn't have changed accountants.jeff of pa said:Cool find !
