I got smoked today by an Enfield Ramrod and six Georgia Teats.

. . . and sometimes the bear eats YOU. My digging buddy smoked me today BIG TIME with his "antique" 80s era Nautilus! He found a few gardeners, six (count 'em SIX) dropped Georgia teats, and the prettiest Enfield ramrod I've seen come out of the ground in YEARS. He was in a MODERN trash dump, trying to work between all the debris. While these woods have been hunted hard for years, the diggers have obviously avoided the dump site. He chose to work in there and while the hunting was pretty difficult, it obviously paid off for him. The Ramrod was partially EXPOSED!!! The BIG pile of relics is his. The little pile . . . well, let's just say there were only two of us hunting. That's my story and I'm embarrassed by it.

That's a great site PW. I have never dug one of the Georgia Teat Base bullets but a friend gave me one from VA. That ramrod was extremely well preserved. We just dig the brass ends here. HH, Q.
