I hate the word no....I drive by this old turn of the century farm house every day, and today there was a truck there. I pulled up and tried my damnedest to get permission to Metal Detect it but the old codger....."Well my attorney said...Bla bla bla." Bull crap. Attorneys should be strung up by their heels for making people worry too much. :BangHead:

I know, its just frustrating, when you see what was once a huge beautiful old house, and you can do nothing but dream about it.

Yep! I hate the word No also, but my wife has been helping me with that and I'm getting better. [emoji106]

If it wasn't for all the lawyers, we wouldn't need all the lawyers.

Next time bring a cute little girl with you to ask for permission.

Come on Cudamark, if the dude had a "cute young girl" he wouldn't be metal detecting at all!

I hate No also. I search a nice Church playground that our kids attend preschool at--- we have spent $6000 for preschool over the years and I asked if I could search the home that the church owns from the late 1800's across the street and was told NO!

I couldn't believe it. They said the "board of trustees voted and said NO"

Ughh

You're probably correct.....with the "girl's" age I was thinking, and your innuendo, he'd be in jail! :laughing7:

I've not ask very many people yet as there is a lot of public ground I can hunt. But the only place that has said no to me would be a elementary school yard and Her reason was that our kids don't have any money. What made me so mad was it took her about 20 min of beating around the bush to finely tell me no.
