Found this 1ft. down metal detecting in an open field. I couldn't get a good clear picture of the person, but person is wearing a robe and holding a caduceus staff in the right hand. The left is holding what looks to be a whip, snake, or torch. "Monogram" is imprinted in tiny letters underneath. The back looks like it could have fit around a jar? or maybe it was a fancy stirrup of some kind? Like I said, I have no clue...but would appreciate it if someone could identify what it is.
Thanks.

Is there any way you can take a clearer photo and maybe a bit closer?

Yes, clearer photos would make it easier, and perhaps a bit closer.

hard to tell with the images provided, if you have a flatbed scanner, see if you can scan it and get a clearer image

What's it made out of?

It reminds me of something my father had made.. He was a paratrooper in WWII. He had his jump wings made into a ring.. I know this probally doesnt help but that what it reminded me of... Great Find anyway!!! HH
