found these at an old farm house... they were all in the dirt floor of an old barn foundation... they seem to be copper ..very thin, but very flexible... none of them cracked or broke when i straightened them out... there 2 &3/4 '' long...and 2 '' wide.... my best quess is radiator fins from a tractor or car...or battery grids.. but think battery grids would be lead... any help would be appreciated!!!

They look a lot like those little plackards a farmer sricks in the ground at the end of each row when planting a garden to label what is planted in that row. Monty

I have to go along with the placards....notice the small clip where a card could be placed?

This is so easy!

They are name cards so the cows know where to sit for dinner.

allsmith, you said none of them broke when you straightened them out, were they all bent at a 90 deg. angle. Probably cooling fins of some kind, radiator maybe.

If you find a bunch that say "WEEDS" let me know and I'll buy 'em from you for my garden.
