I know it's a button, but want to know more...Can you help?

a simple guess and avenue for research...it is similar to this maine central RR button.Other RR buttons have adopted the styalised lettering as well.perhaps a differant era...

Seeing as how we dont know where you got the buttons from or where they originated from or where youre from,my guess is the Maine Central railroad just because of where i am.You get what you give,no info on items usually gets you no info for a return.
