I know i have not been out much with my dirt rod but got a small chance today. did a small 2ftx2ft area in the canal that runs along my house about 5 ft or so from the bridge was to the out house, not much really a few bits of trash then i see a white button dickies, then on to next target rusty nail then out pops a coin ... nope copper washer darn it still cool and in same hole on edge a Lincoln 1969 d, swing some more a odd ball tone bounces from iron/nickle to silver but good and repeatable wait for it woooohoo i see gold ....pant pant gold coin ... nope a flat button ha love those things ,, back marked Turner. Mix & VOH Treble Gilt . quick sreach not seeing anything with that back mark ? anyhow enjoy and happy huntinn ya'll
