i need help iding a button, please

It is brass in color, but very heavy, about 1"..on the front, top middle of button is a royal crown, just under the crown is an anchor....on the left side of button is the initial R, as well as on the right side...in the middle of the button, and in the middle of the anchor is the initial A...there are 2 rims on the button, a raised smooth, and the most outer rim is a raised "rope design".? The design on the button is very raised and detailed and expensive looking...on the back of the button is reads E.M. Davis.Liverpool...can anyone help with iding this button if needed i can get a picture, it just won't be very good.? ?thanks shandie

Possibly a Royal Austrailian Regiment button. I was unable to find an exact pic, but here is a R.A. Navy button that looks to be similar to your description:
