Learning marbles takes years and hands on. In your dumped bag, I only see a few that date 1970s or older. Most are foreign imported cateyes and such. They have little to no value. The bigger single color cateyes might have a tiny bit of value. The clay ones are old, but only worth a few bucks for the handful. There are a couple of vitros and a west virginia swirl in there, maybe worth a buck for the handful. Looks like there is a chance the ones in the hanging jar might be older?

Yeah like I said I have more the ones in the bag were mine from when I was a kid

I have more in a box some where. How should I take pictures of them to show you?

Put them on a black piece of paper or cloth and take a picture of 3 rows of 3 marbles as clear as possible. Then rotate each marble so that it can be viewed from another angle and take another pic of the same group.

Alright thanks that helps me help you see them better

Group #1
1) New confetti or frit marble
2) Can't tell, take closer pic of this marble by itself, it might be a nice alley
3) New cateye
Group #2
1) Another confetti
2) West Virginia swirl
3) Can't tell, need closer pic
Group#3
1)Cateye
2)Possibly amber slag
3)Cateye
Group#4
1)Can't tell from pic, possibly hybrid cateye
2)New cateye
3) WV swirl
Group#5
1)Newer imperial
2)Vitro
3)WV swirl
Group#6
1)Can't tell
2)cateye
3)clearie

The pics are too far away, and if you have a lot to ID, do 3 sets of 3 in one pic, so there will be 9 in the pic, and use the macro setting on your camera and get as close as you can to the marbles while still getting a clear photo.

Might have to wait for Duffy to weigh in on this one. I feel like it'a on old WV marble, but I'm at a loss as to who made it. I think it might be an older alley, take another pic or two from other angles so we can see if there is any seam, fold, or swirl tips which help identify the marble.

I like your old marble bag!!

I'm thinking that light blue one is a champion now. The ones in the last pictures are newer cateyes and maybe an imperial. The ones near the top of the picture look like much better and older swirls and clays. I'm thinking that light blue one might be worth a few bucks, might fetch $10 to $20 on ebay... not sure.

Awesome didn't have time to post the ones you see on the back ground yet but I will soon as I can

I still need to find the other ones my dad had could be better ones in that box. If it is worth that much I will put it in a safe spot don't want it mixed in with the others

First and last are WV swirls, ,probably alleys. Who knows on the white one.

The white one looks just like the others to me ,hard to get a good shot on that one

Didn't find the box but found another bag and a couple zip locks
