Detector(s) used
Flippin Stick n good luck :)
i visited this site i found in 2004, the thing is , it was on my way somewhere important and i was only to stay about 30 min. i didnt have a good detector for the high mineral ground either. i will be going back to the site in the next few weeks. i do believe it is virgin ground. from what i have here, anyone think what the site may have been, i have researched over and over on the area, and nada. its a pretty big place too, very remote. THE SHOVEL MAY BE MY KEY TO DATE THE PLACE. also on u thing there is a u stamped on the bolt, or its a OHM sign. i am grateful for any help.

The loop looks like the bail to a wood lifting boom or crane arm for a pully attachment.

Shovel looks like something for cleaning out wood or coal ashes.

Tha broken piece? Part of the bolt-down flange on a large piece of equipment like a stationary motor or pump???
