I seen some other people metal detecting (they found a bomb)

I got out to a couple house sites yesterday, both sites were practically barren of coins. I did find my first thimble. On the ride home I rode past a field and seen a lady metal detecting in a field. Mid field also was a State Trooper car. I had to turn around to nib sh**. They told me they had found a bomb! She said the officer said it was from WWII, and that about ten miles away from there, there use to be a place where I guess planes had a practice bombing site. I have not checked the local newspaper or even watched the news. I wish I could have got some pix.

Yesterday TH, we were showing Donnie a place where Dman & I hunted about 4 years ago. We dug a 50 cal. machine gun bullet (not casing). WW2 maneuvers did not have live rounds. Go figure. HH, Q.

My daughter found a fired 50 cal machine gun bullet, again, not a casing near some condos in Delaware on the beach Saturday.

I might follow up tomorrow with a phone call to some trooper buddies. I checked the local paper, nothing.
