I was hunting this beach today for a couple of hours. I was running my fisher f-2 at maximum sensitive along the water line. Got quite a bit falsing so I tuned it down a notch and I didnt get that many. I found about a dollar in clad and what appears to be a thin piece of gold a little bit bigger than a quarter. It was broken off of somethin it appears. The target id reads 39 and its in the pulltabs zone so I am pretty sure its real, but I am going to have it tested tomorrow. But This was my second time detecting at the beach and all the clad I found at this beach wasnt corroded. I found a 1962 penny that is in mint condition. But the gold was the last target I dug before I called it a day ;D

Congrats! I hope the test turns out to be good. Can we have some pictures of the gold? :)

The first piece of gold is the hardest to find. Now enjoy the rush there will be plenty more
