I went down to the river today to see what relics I could find.
I have seen these found before and made it a bucketlister for me.
I think I have a Ford Model T tire valve cover.
Is it?

I also found this 56D wheatie and this "bayonet style" something which actually was in the same hole as the valve cover.
Here are some pictures

Cool finds! :occasion14:

Sure looks like a Model T part. I believe the "bayonet style" item is a push and turn light bulb socket.

I believe the Professor is correct on the bulb socket. I use the same style on my '83 pickup.

I believe you are correct on the valve cover. I have found a number of them. Congrats.

Nice finds. Yes, it is a Model T tire valve cover. I've found 2 of them so far this year. At the site where I found one of them, I also found 2 Model T hub caps.

This photo shows the first Model T hub cap I found and my other finds from April to the first part of May. The hub cap is in the top left corner. Next to it is a Dodge Brothers radiator emblem. I found all of these with my Garrett Ace 250.

Well it is a valve stem cover from an old car, but not necessarily for a model T. Neat find regardless.

It is a valve stem cover. Congrats on your bucket list find.

Nice finds. Congrats
