Hello everyone on TNet!
I've had a ton of fun this year with my new favorite hobby.
I want to thank all of you for your support and interest in my finds this year, and give a shout out to Decender and WisconsinPirate. Local detectors who shared their sites with me. Glad to have hunted with you guys and am looking forward to hunting again soon!
Defiantly looking forward to springtime. I want to get out of my comfort zone and have some spots I cant wait to detect.
Woke up this morning to a few inches of snow and below freezing temps. Almost didnt go out but the kids were up and ready to play in the powder, so why shouldn't I be?

Brushed off the car and it the road .3 miles to this BIG old tree. Its just off the property line of my kids school. I drive past this tree 4 times a day and its always been tempting to hunt. Im glad I hit it today for the first time.

For the fisrt 2 hours I didnt get much other than some big iron junk, rusty cans, pull tabs (Teachers drinking on lunch break?) a few wad cutters, and a piece of aluminum with an American Flag. And a 57 D Wheatie and clad.
I started to get cold and just walk deeper in the woods before I was going to leave.
I got a solid signal on my ACE... I pulled out a long thin silver chain! Woohoo! I would have been happy with just the chain. I rechecked the hole... and the charm was waiting for me

I was pumped. I figured it was silver as it came out into the light. I checked for markings and there it was... 950 right on top!
I was hoping for .925 but this is 2.5% better lol.
Here she is all cleaned up. Looks like a woman holding a fruit basket on her head. A few beautiful colored stones but most likely glass.
But all gems are accounted for which I love

Again thanks everyone of TNet
Stay warm and Happy Hunting!
