Still a cool find though. "Briggs machinery co agents Pittsburgh PA" I got skunked on my research efforts to find the age it is thick cast brass very heavy duty. It will display nicely.

True would make a nice center piece in a shadow box.
 
Hello, If I am reading your plate right, It says Briggs Machinery Co. First thing that comes to my mind is a possible relationship to the Briggs and Stratton Engine Co. Could be they merged with Stratton in later years :dontknow: Just a thought. Sweet Find either way :icon_thumleft: Paul :coffee2:
