I thought I had a silver ring .. take a look ?

So I snuck out after the mothers day celebrations , and I found this ring it has no markings on it. I tested it for silver and the acid did nothing to it .. it left a greenish tint on the napkin after I wiped acid of the stone the scratch I put on the stone stayed there ? What else could it be ? Any help would be appreciated . Thanks

I'm looking for suggestions on what type of metal it could be .. it rang on the etrac at 12/45

Next apply the acid to the scratched area (or deposit on the plate). Your kit should include a color scale. You want to
identify the color change that occurs. This will determine the purity of the silver that the acid has come into contact with.

Generally speaking, you’re looking for:

Green (500)
Brown (800)
Darker Red (925)
Bright Red (Fine Silver)

12-45......should be silver.......found one that looks just like it Wednesday. No marks & I think it was made from a silver coin.........

I agree . Looks like silver. I've found a few silver items stamped from coins that had no silver markings...

Looks like silver to me. I found one like that. It was a toe ring stamped 925. Nice find.
