It was so warm here in southern Wisconsin I decided to try out my new safari. I went to the tot lot at the park figuring I could dig in the sand, but it was still frozen solid 1 inch below ground. The permafrost is still there. I could hear coin sounds but they were between 4 & 6 inches and I couldn't dig that deep. All I managed to recover is a small metal cross with a blue stone (junk metal). I guess I will have to wait until June to be able to get some clad!
