went out this morning hit the normal clad an 2 monster junk rings , got home an was going threw my clad an noticed one of my nickles didnt look right . Yurns out to be a 1943 steel penny with no mint mark :icon_thumleft: a first for me .

Thats in great shape bro. A kid musta dropped it not long ago. I have found em in pocket spills and they are always little rusty discs. Keep it comin.

rare to find a 43 with it zinc coating still fairly intact out in the "wild" --no mint mark is of course the philly mint.

Thats how it popped outa the sand about 6 inches down , second scoop nothing rehit the hole she sounded off next scoop she was in the bottom pulled it out rubbed off most the sand an dropped it in my pocket thinkin it was a nickle .
 
You outta see the 1943 I received in a penny roll the other day. It is right out of the mint...I will post a picture of it later this afternoon. Nice find on yours. In awesome shape. :headbang: :hello2:
