I was just wondering.......

I just had my best month detecting. I found three silver rings.
However, one has been stepped on. I just wondering if there is a way to round it back into shape
without having to take it to a jeweler.
I would be grateful for any advice.

Use a mandrel and a leather or very soft mallet. But check this video.

Silver is soft. Find a round thing like wooden kitchen tool handle or plastic tube cap,anything just under the rings size and force the ring over it and press hard to restore
roundness to the opening while rotating it. you should be able to fix it that way.
