Found in Putnam County, Ga.,never seen anything like it, I think maybe it is sandstone? When you rub your thumb on it you get a sandy brown dust on it. I have tried to break it, I can't. If happens to be for real I can't tell where the stem is, it could be at end with hole or at the opposite end from hole? If I soaked in water it may crumble but dry I can not break it....any comments are welcome ,except,"it is a natural rock" it is not natural,it may be a ancient equivalent to whittling to pass the time?
