This old drywasher was my Dad's and his partner's in the 1960s. It is made of aircraft aluminum all riveted construction on a wheelbarrow chassis. I could not find a data plate anywhere on it but I would like to know if anyone knows who made this. I spoke to both keene and Royal and show them the picture, Bill at Keane said he thought it was a Dixie Doodle.

Any info would be appreciated.

Heres another photo

Google Dixie Doodlebug
Looks like they made a Trommel.
Clean the carb put some fresh gas in that baby and fire her up :icon_thumleft:

Interesting design.

I agree, great design! If you feel like taking the hopper off and taking some more pics, it looks like you have a great set up. From the looks of it, I looks like it may have been made in an aircraft shop. Once again, very nice :)

old dry wash.webp This a dry wash like I used in early fifties. A school mate of mine father built one - sure got tired of tuning the dam thing.

hey Rick, I'll give you 20 bucks for that ore bucket. LOL highdesertranger
