Congratulations, what year is that halve dollar? could be a 40% silver one

Seger, Thanks, it's a 1976 Bicentineal.

Nice finds and cool rings.

Congrats on all your finds!!
I'm thinking of hitting up a Drive-In theater here that I got permission to hunt at.
What settings did you use on your IDX Pro?
I'm always afraid of missing stuff, though I've slowly learned the settings... and I am finding stuff, slowly but surely.
This Drive-In still has ALOT of iron scattered everywhere from when they tore down the projector/snack bar building.

Bran, I leave mine on the factory presets. When I get tired of digging pull tabs, I switch to coin setting. The ring was 6 inches down and showed up as a $1.00. The buffalo was switching between a nickle and pull tab, I got lucky on that one! Tim

Tim,
Thanks for telling me what your targets showed as on your screen. I often wonder about that. And as far as the settings go, I turn the discrimination down past the ring range, because otherwise it won't even pick up the rings on my hand... hence why I'm afraid of missing a ring or other jewelry target when I'm out.
