At the claim I work at we have been working for the last 2 weeks fabricating new stuff to try this year...
We found some good ground just above some decomposed bedrock and ran it through a highbanker last night and found some good color... I cant wait till tomorrow when I set up the Big sluice box. that hooked to a pretty good sized header box..
I willl try to get some pictures.... we had a slight hangup today when towing the header box on the frame with a small John Deere Dozer turning around to get a tow with the other side threw a dang track.. it sucked but I guess we wait to fix that and use teh excavator and the komatsu tracked loader...
I hope to be up in operation fully tomorrow ( minus that JD Dozer.) and I will try to post pics and will post pics at the end of the week after the first cleanup.........
I guess that show is right ... everythign is tougher in alaska......
