When my 70 year old right shoulder gets tired I switch to my left hand. I notice that I am slower and more deliberate with signals and sometime leads to a good find!
Shawnboylk, did you just have rotator cuff surgery? I had my left shoulder rotator cuff repaired for a torn rotator cuff and my left bicep repaired for a ripped bicep muscle. This was this past June. If you had this surgery, please take care and don't overdo. This had a lot more rehab time than I was prepared for, and I'm retired. If you had this type of surgery done, and you reinjure the repair it will set you back big time. I met a young man while in rehab that had the same surgery. This young man was still working, and I ran into him a short while later in town. I asked him how his shoulder was and he made a face and said "not good". He went on to say that his work claimed to have light duty, but they really didn't. It sounded like he reinjured his shoulder. Not telling you what to do, just be careful. This Saturday will be my first Relic hunt since I had my surgery. I'm right handed, so I should be fine. I'm past ready to go. Take Care of yourself.
beauty, thanks for posting. I tried to swing left handed half the time and just gave up.............
