Man...that year sucked. Should tell ya something when a highlight was having Covid... Anywho, finally spoke with my CU and the lady at the help center "didn't see why we wouldn't sell coins", so I went in. Wearing a winter jacket since it was -21 when I went in for work, and my mask, I waited in line for the single teller to finish with her customer. The secretary asked what I needed, and so talked to her, handed her my debit card and an ID, and all hell broke loose. "OMG we haven't seen you in forever, what happened, we thought you moved!" and etc etc. She even called up another teller that had been on break. Explained that between the coin shortage, covid, and my dad having cancer I decided it best not to bring dirty coins in. Further explained that since the coin shortage was over, I had already had Covid, and my father passed...yeah, may as well.
Anywho, got a bag of quarters and a bag of cents, my first coins since 3-2-2020 (and first quarters since 10-19-19). Did not disappoint thus far. 13 keeper quarters including 9 America the Beautiful ones I was missing (only searching for 4 now), and these:
Lowell W
San Antonio Mission W
Weir W V75
Impaired/Battered Proof WV
Quite happy for my first sort in a year. Just a verification as well, assuming each 2020W has the V75, correct? Luckily, over the last year, ladies at work pulled me 5 Steelies, a Silver proof California Quarter, and 7 Silver Quarters as well. I also found a W America Memorial Park and a S Susan B. Anthony so but yeah hadn't been completely out, definitely missed the mindless plinking. Happy Hunting Everyone!
