I'm Back With A Big Post. (Updated With More Pics)

Hey everyone,

I have been gone now for awhile. 2 Things kept me away. My kids baseball all summer long. And then my computer got a virus about 2 months ago and ate the hard drive up.

Well I finally got a new one and I am testing it out. I made alot more finds and had alot more photos but right now I can't remember everything I have found since i was last on. Plus some of the photos are on my iphone and it wanted me to download more software to get the pics from that.

I will be putting up more photos as I go along. Some of the highlights were a nice 1850's homestead I came across about 3 weeks ago. It gave up a ton of relics not all show. 2 really neat picture frames. Both well burried over a foot deep for some odd reason. It gave up a prince edwards island token.

Can anyone id this one or give me a date and variety. Back is blank on the token. Got a few arrowheads not shown and a bunch of common silver indians and nickles not shown.

I am back now and ready for the fall. I'm working on some old homesteads to go out and track down here over the next couple months. Bare with me I just got a new computer a couple days ago and it's alot different than my old one.

This is like a test run post for me. I'll get better again as I learn all this new software. Thanks for looking and commenting.

Great stuff! You are definitely back in a big way! I found a suspender clip last week with the same patent date on it! The design is a little different though.

Very nice finds JerDfx. Post some of those suspender clips on Ohio Jerry's suspender clip thread. That's a killer masonic clip.

WOW. Super finds. Can you get front and back close ups of the three Boy Scout pieces? Being a leader for 27 years I love collecting scouting pieces. I would really like to see the arrowhead shaped piece. I can see the scouting emblem but can not make out the rest. Way to go.

Thanks alot guys for the welcome back.

The suspender clip was a great little relic. It was pat something 1873. I don't have it in front of me right now.

I dig alot of trash but it's not modern trash. It is all relic type old metal and that's it for the most part. I have my tab and screw cap days though lol. Everyone does.

That is the only way to get keepers nowadays. Investigate signals that others have left behind.

Yes, I have alot of items now from the boys scouts. That pin was in great shape. pat 1911 if I can recall. I have several of this type. Arrowheads I was talking about native american points. Found a nice little bird point and another with the tip missing. Found one of them at the old homestead I was just hunting.

I will put up more pics as time allows me. I have to go to work here soon.
