I'm off to a great start, Spanish Silver!!

I'm having a good month, great detecting weather, first the Rev War Rattlesnake Button and now I have my first Spanish silver ,1789 Carlos III Monarchi 8 Reales. This thing was a foot deep and just barely detectable. I kept getting a 12-40 at 12 inches but not consistent, very hard to pinpoint. I never expected this to come out! it's beat up but I don't care! I'm stoked!!

Thanks Ahab, I'm having fun. I never thought id find one of those. I thought it was a half dime at first, i found one of those before but getting the dirt off, i didn't know what it was. I kept getting a 12-40 signal at 12" but not consistent. Usually that is the edge of iron but I'm kinda new with the CTX 3030 so i dig everything. Glad i stuck with it lol..

What are the 8's the real big ones? Can you tell I'm not real educated when it comes to the Spanish coins? lol I'm learning
