I'm so danged tired...

...of waiting for the water to go down! Watching the pros get out and about. Making FANTASTIC finds. I'm going to pitch the canoe into the Navasota tomorrow, regardless of what happens. Ever heard of brown, whitewater!!!
We got more rain last night, and it's heading eastbound. (sorry TN and all others) The waters will be rising again.
If ya'll don't hear from me in the next couple days, send water rescue.
End of whining rant.

wear a life jacket BW!!!lol.i am goin creekin in the a.m. if i dont have to work,i am not even gonna take the dang canoe.i dont care how much moisture comes this way,as long as it isnt frozen!!goodluck tomorrow,I got the Coast Gaurd on speed dial if you dont report in by tuesday night.

When I lived in College Station we used to go down to the Navasota bottoms (swamps) and the Brazos river. That area is beautiful. Hang in there on that high water. We have been under for months and they are just now getting it down towards winter pool. Just think of all the stuff you will find when its down. I say be careful in the high water I have been on the Brazos during a flash flood it is full of cottonmouths and high water sure pushes them..
