Impact in iron

Was just curious what program everyone uses in heavy iron? I was using the DI3 program which was working good but felt I wasn't quite getting the depth. Switched over to VLX2 which is good depth but didnt feel like it was as good at picking good stuff out of the iron. Thinking I may try DI99 today. See how it works.

Go with VLX2 and iron audio set to 1, Gain 85

Go check out “Darnell Hello World” on YouTube. He has a video on his settings with the Impact, and he kills it in iron. I just recently bought an Impact and will be trying out his settings as soon as the ground thaws.

So been playing in the iron. Have been using DI3. Putting the gain up to 90 and switching it to 20 khz. Seems to be doing the trick. Got a King George copper. Couple of Indians and a barber dime from some thick iron patches.
