Hey guys, I usually post in the, "beach and sallow water," forum. I'm in Western NC area and am trying to get one of the bucket list items checked off and have some fun with the kids. We wanted to do two things. Fine an arrow head and or some crystals.

I personally have never found one and it literally is on my bucket list. It's funny because I grew up in northern CA and now live in FL, areas were Indians were but still no luck.

Today I spoke with an old timer in the area and he steered me to look in cemetery's and newly plowed farm fields. I actually looked in both and a few rivers today with no luck. So if you guys have any tips they would be greatly appreciated.

The crystal part, I think I have covered. I'm taking the kids to Crabtree tailings mine. What's your thoughts.

That's further up the mountain from where I live and is where the Cherokee lived and some still do today. The old timer probably has the best advice especially if he's found things and owns the land where he found them. Betting the kids loved Crabtree.

Hi; Only one piece of advice ok. Stay out of Cemeteries.!!! They ARE Sacred Grounds. You want to get Folks riled up ?? That's the fastest way I know of ok. Other than that, Happy Trails. PEACE:RONB
