Well, I didn't have time to go relic hunting at the farm this w/end. Actually, I didn't have time to do much MDing at all. I finally had a few hours of peace this afternoon, so I headed to a school to do some clad cultivation. I hit a few play areas, an old volleyball area, and a soccer area. Although it wasn't exactly a haul like my buddy BDoo, I did find a few keepers.
My finds were:
*A stoneless .925 Silver ring size 8.75. I may go back and sift through to see if the stone is there. At first I though it was a pop tab, as it was just intertwined on top with the grass.
* A silver cheerleader pendant.
*A bell pendant with fake diamonds , a yellow who-knows-what pendant, a junk gold ring, a few buttons, and pull tabs.
* A squished penny token from Pittsburgh, Pa. (Maybe Kirk's?)
The funny thing was, since I've been hunting old relics and buttons so long, I kept looking at these pennies to see if they were wheats, and the buttons to see if they were old.
Of course, they were not.
Thanks for looking & "cheers" to BDoo.
