Found this incised section of a Hopewell gorget a while back and wanted to share it with others, it had been broken for many years when i recovered it, picked up alot of Hopewell Havana phase pottery shards on this site plus several Hopewell points. Pretty well gave up on arrowhead hunting because most farmers have gone to minimal tillage around here!

Nice recovery.
Some of my no till are going back to deep discing and turning the soils again.
The US has 45 spray resistant weeds now. So to add insult to injury the cost of weed mitigation is costly.
So they're returning to working the fields.
They spray when it's a rotation from grass/alfalfa to bean again.
The organic farmers still plow.

My 3 permission fields are planted in winter oats, for the first time. Will they need to be disc’d in the spring, or will they just drill soy beans over the top?
I’m hoping for the disc.🤞

great find , the engravings are interesting...
