I found these and the usual junk today. My oldest IH cent and my first all brass shotshell. The headstamp on the shotshell is U.M.C.Co. No.20. I bought a canoe to get to this site. I was told that a large cache is buried there, but the place where I believe the cache is....well I can't get to it because of the impenetrable brush and sticker bushes! Just terrible! Well, the canoe will provide me a way to some other sites, and some fishing too.
Oh,here's a photo too, forgot it at first. And the IH cent is 1889.

I would go out and find a couple of crack heads and paddle them up there to clean out the brush.
pay them 20 and they could go get there fix later. ( all scraped up and bleeding )
Thats just me though

Cool, haven't seen a full brass shotshell hull in quite awhile. That 20 gauge size makes a good cap for a gentleman's cane, if you have a gentleman's cane without an end cap - probably not likely. LOL Anyhow, nice finds. Too bad about the brush. If you are sure there is a cache in there somewhere, why not rent a gas powered hedge trimmer and a pole saw? Stand back from the base of the brush and use the pole saw so you don't have to get torn up on the branches. Use the hedge trimmer to cut a path into the interior. I mean, c'mon you can't leave a cache in the ground!!!! ;)

Roundup and a pressure sprayer. :D

Indiana Jones wouldn't a let no little weeds stop him.
