I know that area.

The column does not specify if the dump was on the east or west river side. But I would think its on the east side. In that time, Kentucky Avenue may not have spanned the river.

Now that area is build up with the roads, I 70 and other industrial complexes. Could be items may be found when the river level gets high and the wooded banks give something up.

I live in Carmel and have been meaning to go walk the trail you can see next to river. Just to scope it out for signs of what side etc…. I have mapped out so many privy’s from Sanborn map of Indianapolis especially near north side. Want to get to some of those as well lol.
