Found this today in the Leon River located in central Texas. Any information I can get on this is much appreciated. Tried doing a little research myself but not finding much out.

Tdog is probably correct with the Marcos call. Maybe Marshall but the notches are angled more like Marcos. Nice material

Thanks everyone for the replies. They really help me out. Every time I find one I feel like I have to know all history on it. I’ll do some research on a Marcos. Just found this one about an hr ago 40 miles or so up river. Pretty much perfect!

The material appears to be owl creek. Its a version of Edwards chert. Found in south west Texas. Nice find. A fellow lost that 3000 years ago and you just found it.
