Info on these bullets

I found these bullets in a wooded park. They seem old. Can anyone provide more information?

they look like .45 ball ammo to me. looks modern

An older gentleman came over to me as I was wrapping up my search. He got really excited when I showed him these bullets - said they were 100+ years old. They are pretty heavy and seem to be unfired.

i don't know, i see rifling on them which would mean fired but i could be wrong.
